[PLAY] Playground Fun with the Boys at Admiralty Park (16 Jan 2021)

It was a sunny morning! Perfect for outdoor activities and we decided to bring the boys out to Admiralty Park (31 Riverside Road) to experience one of the best playgrounds in Singapore.

After breakfast, we took a taxi down to our destination but we mistakenly ended up at Waterfront Park instead. Since we were here already, we briefly walked the ground and found some nice spots!

(1) JB was just across the sea and our familiar City Square Mall and R&F Mall were within sight.

(2) This waterfront park was very close to "nature" and we got to witness a troop of monkeys strolling on the Park Connector Paths. Of course, that caught the attention of many onlookers and animal "enthusiasts", up with their mobile phones.

(3) The kids playground nearby was rather spacious and cool! They had swings, the usual playground slides but something worth recommending was this tall bridge structure that has both netted ladders and netted web beneath it! Quite breathtaking to see it actually and suitable for kids adventurers~

It was about 9.30am and it took another can down to the "right" destination which was about a 2-min drive from Waterfront Park. After getting down from the cab, the boys saw the playground from afar and they immediately dashed to it with great anticipation. Indeed, it did not fail their expectations. What we saw were towering slides, rock climbing and flying fox for kids! There were supposedly 3 play areas - Family, Adventure and Junior Playgrounds but there were only 2 venues onsite. It's because the Family and Adventure play areas are adjacent to each other, while the Junior Playground would be another 3-min walk down which was just nearby. I think my boys' favourite was the extremely long slide which they kept playing repeatedly and the trick to have a smooth ride would be in a squatting position!

As what the elder one said, he felt over the moon when playing and was exhausted at the end of it. But he wanted to go there again! - That sums up the awesome trip to Admiralty Park!
